Megami is Japanese, it is the name of the female form of Kami, which is the Japanese word for the spirits within objects in the Shinto faith. The word is however often mistranslated as god or deity.
In our case we happily admit that we're using the mistranslated form of the word, in our case we mean it to mean goddess, for here we worship at the altar of the goddess Kumi Koda, her voice is truly heaven sent, her form that of an angel, her songs are the work of a deity.
